FUTA STAFF lock up University gates as they continue with their Strike

The Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) of The Federal University of Technology , Akure (FUTA) chapter have continued with their strike which they began on 7th of oct which was last week Thursday.

Today, they went a step further by locking up both the North gate and South gate of the university, which prevented staff from gaining access into university premises. They further set up canopies and fire wood which they used to fry akara (beancake) at the entrances of the university. They said they will continue with this strike until all their demands are met.
